Uniforms
SEATTLE, WA – Buzz Off Insect Shield, LLC, and Cintas
Corporation announce the launch of a new insect-repellent uniform collection
ideal for those who work daily in the outdoors where pesky and potentially
dangerous bugs can be a chronic issue.
The new insect repellent uniform collection from Cintas
features EPA-registered Insect Shield® Repellent Apparel technology proven to
repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges (no-see-ums), including
species that can carry Lyme disease, West Nile virus and other diseases. Insect
Shield protection is invisible, odorless, does not change the feel of the
garment and lasts through 70 launderings.
Cintas begins offering Insect Shield Repellent Apparel in
their spring 2008 sourcebook, available now.
Cintas, a recognized innovator continues to lead the industry
in specialized fabrics necessary for today's lint-free "clean-rooms,"
customized fire-resistant clothing to save lives, and an expanded line of
first-aid supplies and training services. The addition of Insect Shield
technology makes yet another important solution available to the Cintas client
base.
"We are very excited to bring Insect Shield products
to the uniform industry, which we believe will enthusiastically embrace this
new apparel functionality,” says Jason Griffin, executive vice president, Buzz
Off Insect Shield. “As a leader in workplace apparel, Cintas is the perfect
platform upon which to launch this technology into the uniform business."
